I'm totally impressed to see how far this emulator has come. It's what I'd call playable. Not as smooth as the real deal but it's getting close

Beta 12 is f'n fantastic!

Glitch report that probably carries over from NDSGBA and perhaps cannot be rectified, but it's worth mentioning: I tried out the "Field Training" tutorial today in Advance Wars and discovered that some dialogue does not appear on screen. You can hear the burble of audio to signify that someone (usually Nell) is saying something, but you have to mash the A button through it until it's time for you to act again, and you have no way of knowing what the instructions were. Happens on both the original dump as well as v1.1. Not sure if this issue continues into regular missions, but would have to expect that it does.

.

Thanks so much for all the hard work. I'm testing a bunch of games on beta 12 and adding to the compatibility wiki. Very nice to see most of them running 60FPS with zero frameskip. :)

Just a note, Frameskip 1 is 30FPS, and 2 is 20FPS. Frameskip 0 is what 60 FPS is, since it means skipping no frames from the native when rendering.

Ah, I read that I should list what it says under "emulating", I think?
wait, yeah I thought that was for both sections. I understand it now. I can go back and make the edits. :)

For my curiosity, what was the problem in Blackthorne, and how did beta 12 fix it?

If it was massive slowdown and audio crackling, I'd like to see the values you have in /Tools/Debugging/Nebuleon's code cache flush counts for IWRAM and EWRAM in beta 12, please.

Who said it had problems?!
Just sayi'n that it works flawlesly.
Tried also ninja five-o and sims busti'n out and both work perfect.

I really have to complement this project, Castlevania Aria of Sorrow was already playable before on NDSGBA, but now it plays remarkably well, full speed and almost smooth.
Metroid Zero Mission played very well as well, kudos you guys you really took Team Supercard's source code above and beyond.

Edit: After trying out Megaman Battle Network 3, I have found that TempGBA actually far exceeds gpSP on the GP2X Caanoo at this point, goodness.
It goes to show what a little TLC can do for an emulator, TempGBA has gone far beyond NDSGBA by now, whilst gpSP Caanoo was somewhat neglected ultimately.

Okay, I'm probrably doing something wrong but I can't get the TEMPGBA emulator to work, whenever I try to load it it says BIOS MISSING or some crap like that.

I followed all the instructions and and I don't what I'm doing wrong, by the way I downloaded the latest version.

You need to put gba_bios.bin in the emulator's folder.

I think you answered your own question about what could be wrong when you asked it lol.
