Switch 2 replaceable battery model in 2027!!

Well would you look at that i was correct

All they did was
screws on the joycon slots are no longer under the sticker
And the battery is no longer glued in and just pops out with a bit of force,
They changed the design of the whole battery casing, connector and also of the heat shield.
 
Man, thought replacing the batteries would be easier like the Wii U GamePad and Wii U Pro Controller had it. Still, that's manageable, of course.

There's quite a bit of difference in what the Wii U Gamepad does, and what the Switch 2 does. One is essentially a streaming device, and the other is a full portable console. The former does very little processing, so its design does not have to accommodate the necessities that are needed for the latter, like air flow with a cooling system, a heat plate for helping with heat dispersion, etc.
 
Looks like my left Joy-Con's battery drains a lot quicker than my right one and that's pretty annoying, just means I'll have to recharge it more often.

I'll see about waiting for an OLED NS2.
