Really?? Cause the ones we used in college were *BALLER*AS*FCUK* I don't think they were the 800 dollar variety, but hot damn were they awesome.

Trust me. The cables are defective. They cost 70$ to replace and they don't manufacture them anymore, so you are always stuck buying used ones which are also broken.

On top of that, the screen resolution is horrid. They are great when it comes to actual drawing, yes, and the express keys are a godsend. However they are bulky, heavy and the battery sucks.

A surface pro is by far cheaper and more efficient / effective. You don't need 4096 levels of pressure on a pen. My surface pen has a mere 256 levels and you've seen my work ...

Seriously, save your money. Get a used surface 3 or surface 4. Much better bang for your buck, they are actually portable computers (not just a screen) and have a huge battery life.

I know my digital style is sloppy. It does take a very very long time to get this all looking at least halfways presentable. And I know there are many of you who don't like my style and that's fine, those are valid opinions :P I just ask you all give me a chance as this web-comic continues. I haven't had a real Cintiq for years and I wish I could get one again, but they are around $800 for the cheapest version. So I have to make due with a Wacom pen&touch which does ok, I just need to practice more. Obviously.
I just felt like crapping on a mod for the lulz, and I found an excuse with your submission. Your drawing method may be terrible, but that is what made the strip all the more hilarious. Sorry if I made you feel bad, Bortzinator. Keep on doing you, okay? I did get the reaction I expected from some users, but I guess I went a little overboard with the presentation. :(

the Switch thing made me laugh, even though it was an easy one.
I'm thinking of all those grannies out there who bought a network switch for their grandkids for christmas

"Thanks grandma! Now I can be the network technician I've always wanted to be!"
