Hacking TeamCyclops forums have re-enabled registration.

Heard lots of people complaining about not being able to register at TeamCyclops forums. Well, they have now re-enabled registration.

... Even though I've never been to the Cyclo forums. >_>
And the "Contact Admin" feature is disabled.

"The administrator has banned your email address. To contact the administrator click here"

"Sorry. The email function has been disabled by the administrator."

So I used a non webmail email addy instead - and it worked perfectly.
So it looks like they're blocking addys from hotmail, gmail, ymail etc.

I'm signed up to their forums with my Gmail account. I'm guessing I registered right before they blocked them.

Well it blocked my gmail addy when I tried registering with it - so yeah, it sure looks like they have.

I'm still waiting for the membership activation reply email. I'm just hoping my non webmail email provider isn't blocking the Cyclo forum domain. That would just be torturous. >_<

They've most likely disabled emails from free providers - Gmail, Yahoo, hotmail, etc. Keeps the spam bots at bay.

Use the email your ISP provided, and forward emails to your Gmail/hotmail/etc

They didn't block temporary inbox. I used that. They don't send you your password in the email. You only need it to confirm registration.

I registered just fine with my hotmail. However it's @live.ca not @hotmail.com

Nah. They blocked it even before they disabled registration.

For everyone with a gmail account, put @googlemail.com . It will work the same as your @gmail.com adress and they probably didn't block it.

Biduleman, I just tried changing my account details to use my gmail addy with @googlemail.
They blocked it.

Yahoo mail works if you have an account with the @ymail.com domain though.
