Team-Xecuter Releases SX OS v1.2

TX Releases Another Update To Their SX OS, with the big feature everyone was waiting for 'CARD2' support!
txos12.jpg

Earlier this weekend, we were informed by TX that they were busy putting the finishing touches on yet another major update to their very popular SX OS, and now with v1.2 you have what everyone was screaming for since the first release, the latest 'card2' games! :)
It's been a busy week at the Team-Xecuter headquarters, after releasing v1.1 of SX OS we got (yet again) a good amount of feedback from the community.

Let's jump straight into the changes for version 1.2 of SX OS:
  • Added Card2 support
A small dozen (currently released) games were not compatible with SX OS, we tracked down these incompatibilities with these so-called "CARD2" games and fixed them. You can now fully enjoy `Sushi Striker' and other games!
  • Added downgraded fuse support
In v1.1 we added a protection against programming fuses. What was not added was a bypass for the "fuse checks", this has now been addressed. Advanced users who want to enjoy "downgraded" firmwares can now do so!
  • Improved homebrew compatibility
Without going into complicated details, homebrew compatibility has been improved once again. Give your problem homebrew titles another spin, and let us know if any problems remain. We're sure this should be a big improvement.
As always, updating SX OS is simply a matter of replacing "boot.dat" in the root of your microSD card. No need to re-activate your license or anything.

Stay tuned for more updates. We're far from done!

Their code is still not yet 100% just wait people for a confirmed SX unburnt fuse and fusee compatible before attempting all these unburnt fuse.
If you don't wait and mess around with brickmii and the partitions etc you'll most likely end up breaking your switch ending up with all burnt fuses and possible a very hard to recover soft brick.

But if you have already completed them steps layeredFS is fully working with fusee patched payloads and you can play some games in the mean time some cart2 games also work with LFS

Update this is what I found but have yet to verify some one attempted this already and burnt their fuses.
Please wait. Since uninstalling brickmii and removing the autorcm, if you do fail to reboot into rcm mode the first time and have the wrong boot order or if it attempts to boot the official 5.1 Firmware you will end up burning your 5 additional fuses.

DO NOT ATTEMPT UNLESS VERIFIED BY MORE.
Actually, I was wrong. After upgrading, I had to unbrick using briccmii v2, then re-install AutoRCM using SX OS, and then it worked.

This is what happened to me, but it was because instead of uninstalling RCM with bricmii I uninstalled RCM with the SX OS menu, which doesn't have a "reboot to RCM" option, bricmii does have this option so RCM MUST be uninstalled with bricmii or else if you don't get to reboot into rcm you will burn your fuses...

Exactly that's why I said for people to hold off unless verified.

Can confirm;
- PSnes is working better. Still crashes on games like DKC for some reason.
- PFBA is working.
- VBANext seems ok as well.
- NXShell crashes.
- Mario Tennis Aces, Sushi Striker work.
- Yoku's Island Express - throws a software error notification. Will redump it tomorrow to test.
Will look into more soon.

Fifa 18 still seems broken for me - game card can not be read
(personal dumps btw)

PSNES is working fine over here. No Crashes on DKC at all.

They have excellent support so far. Hope they implement a features that can delete all logs before they are send to Nintendo. But for the most part I am hoping for more stock. I need me a SX Pro :)
