Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Producer Teases Big Announcement

Ryota Niitsuma, Producer of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, posted a Happy New Years blog which hints at an overseas announcement.

The post says tomorrow morning there may be a big announcement on the other side of the sea. He ends the sentence with laughing, something like (lol). So by tomorrow does Niitsuma mean today our time or tomorrow, January 6? Never mind.

Other news bits from the quick Q&A session note save data from Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes will not be compatible with Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars and there won’t be an arcade version of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars.

there are no plans for a port UAS is also built straight from Wii hardware.

The only way it will go to other consoles is a direct sequel using different technology for those consoles. PERIOD.

No clue what it could be.
My guess is that its most likely nothing.
But a pre-order gift would be nice.

Also sad there will be no arcade version in the states, but thats the state of things these days.
Man I miss the arcades, good days, good times.

Yah its confirmed that she's in it now but I'm not sure if this is the big announcement. It's not even a "big announcement".

I guess a new character can count as a big announcement.
She looks cool, but I was really hoping for Dante, he could be awesome in a fighting game.(Although there are TONS of characters I like in the game, so it doesn't really matter.)
With or without Dante, this game is really good, I really enjoyed the japanese release and have high hopes for Ultimate All-Stars.
