Probably just left in from the SDK. There are even mentions of WiiFit left in the game. It's just Nintendo's silly SDK. I wouldn't get too excited.

Anyway, it seems like Reggie! is going the route of SD card loading. Nice work, guys! We have our own solution on the way (as well as possible SD card loading, too!).

I'll hopefully have more info on our loading technique tomorrow

Analysis Fail. Do some research.

@mooseknuckle200

I know that Vash, and Virus and other's are working very hard to get it released soon.

You'll have more info on a technique you created?

Good luck generating wiird codes. I really want to see you guys do that...

Well I guess you better start believing it because each and ever one of them can create wiird codes, hell they have even taught me a few tips on how to make codes.

Good to see ya fvn

anywho, our method of loading the stages is coming along fine, virus actually had me test it the other day.. Works fine. As for when the new beta will come out i cant exactly say atm.. It all depends on a lot of things.

You don't get it. _Making_ wiird codes is relatively easy. _Generating_ wiird codes on the other hand, is quite a bit harder.
And I doubt you guys have enough wiird experience to be giving out tips, I may be wrong though.

Haha.

Anyway, for fear of our method being completely stolen, the first information on it will come with the next beta release. Sorry to disappoint

A few teasers:
-A practical method of replacing stages that requires no illegal ISO image
-No huge Gecko OS codes
-Stage sizes limited to the Wii's processing power, not size allocated by the game

Take what you will from that...

Talk to you all soon

--Haha.
The first part is the part that I was looking forward to seeing your reply to.

How do you steal something you do not have access to?

---A practical method of replacing stages that requires no illegal ISO image
I hope that you are able to make these files from scratch, if you cannot, then it will require a illegal(depending where you live; note:not everyone is from the US) ISO image, or files from one such image.

---No huge Gecko OS codes
Huge is a relative word.

---Stage sizes limited to the Wii's processing power, not size allocated by the game
Sounds like a hacking fai.. limitation.

Alright, I suppose I could humor you.

----Haha.
--The first part is the part that I was looking forward to seeing your reply to.

We've been doing this for a very long time. No time for a history lesson, but let's just say a lot longer than you'd expect.

If I were to go into detail about our method, the competition could begin working on the same method.

You can.

----No huge Gecko OS codes
--Huge is a relative word.

Sorry, all of the details I can offer for now.

----Stage sizes limited to the Wii's processing power, not size allocated by the game
--Sounds like a hacking fai.. limitation.

I don't think you understand. Stage size is increased by a massive (again, relative) amount. Only limited by the Wii's processing power. Understand? Good.

Read: The FIRST part.

--If I were to go into detail about our method, the competition could begin working on the same method.
And that equates to stealing?

--You can.
You're really misunderstanding me, off-coarse I know it's possible, the question is, can YOU do it?

I've cut the other crap that would have resulted in a useless debate.

I still fail to see what you're requesting of me. I apologize.

----If I were to go into detail about our method, the competition could begin working on the same method.
--And that equates to stealing?

I suppose not. I'd rather the competition has no opportunity to duplicate our method. Better?

----You can.
--You're really misunderstanding me, off-coarse I know it's possible, the question is, can YOU do it?

I apologize. My response actually meant that, with our program, the user can. I wasn't saying that you, personally, could do it or stating whether it was possible or not. With our program, yes it can be done.

--I've cut the other crap that would have resulted in a useless debate.
This entire "debate" is useless. Please continue in PM if you'd like. I'm done spamming up the topic.

I shall quote you.

Reggie may be for now, but we have full level renders coming along with a few secret features

It's not a competition. Competition only hurts the community. I've offered to help him with anything he needs
smile.gif

FWIW: He had a DS level editor, and the games have nearly identical engines. Realistically, he's had 3 years to develop Reggie. We've had days to work on this. Over time, it will improve and who knows, maybe we can end up working together. I am not into competitions.
So, are you afraid of the competition, or.. Just trying to "hurt the community"?

If so far you can barely move a hill, I really doubt that.
Making from scratch =/= editing nintendo's files

Constructive questions about your program is considered spam now?

Omega Knight,
Why don't you just leave Vast alone, seriously just let him work on the project. Why are you arguing with him, if you don't like what he is doing then just leave it alone, don't start a huge argument. You aren't forced to be here.
