Tales of Phantasia dutch (snes)

I see there's a dutch translation for Tales of Phantasia Super nintendo edition.
but each time i try to patch (original japanese version seems to be legit and has the right sha-1) to dutch like on http://www.romhacking.net/translations/1070/ it won't work (i used lunar IPS to patch it).
is there anyone who can help me out?

yeah the instructions are kinda silly, the patch is for a headered rom, here is a patch you can apply directly to the normal headerless rom that they tell you to use on the romhacking page

@gamesquest1 thanks man! it's working now!trying to get my collection of modded roms as complete as possible and this little bugger was my first to fail payching.
