Today's blog post is really getting down to some of the boring details of why certain names are being translated certain ways. If you're interested in the research that I do or what goes on in deciding some of the in-game terms, feel free to check out the post. If that doesn't sound like your thing, you might be wise to avoid it.

The short version is that I'm working on translating again after a break. The post is about how I'm changing names and why.

Basically two - Kingcom and I. Yuli is our editor for Innocence, so you might count her too. Gemini was the hacker for Phantasia, but he isn't directly involved in Innocence.

Made a blog update today to say that the story events are 100% translated. There's still plenty left to do between the skits and the summary, but it's a big milestone for the project.

Seriously though, shut up. Translators do this as a hobby for free; they don't appreciate people like you telling them they're not doing it fast enough.

WOW!! 2 or 4 people and a complete game not just menus. waiting for this

I think he had the ethernal confusion between the Hacker and Cracker terms. Hacker mainly do their things free, and looking to help others or let some info (in this case, some games) to be accesible to others. Instead, cracker want to make everithing to sell the info and gain something.

and remember, Hack the world!!!!

QUOTE
Software cracking is the modification of software to remove protection methods: copy prevention, trial/demo version, serial number, hardware key ...

Enough with the off-topic now or else the mods will take our heads

So yeah, the option outlined yesterday was just an April Fools joke. It was meant to be pretty obvious on the blog, but I suppose if people didn't click through, the joke might have been lost. In any case, to make up for the fake update yesterday, there's a real one today.
