By running the update i think you replace the IOS that the game uses, so you'll probably have to reinstall that CIOS wad. Do a search in gbatemp search for game ios list. and of course, you still need ios50 dip'd

what game did you do the update from?

yes, thouht you said you ran update from the disk. maybe im mistaken.

now that i think about it, until you run something to block updating, when you install the CIOS I think it will ask for the update again.

Best solution would be to patch all the new IOS's from the system menu by hand my second idea would be
i'll have to use a Hex editor and change the Version number, i've already been successful and changing the IOS Number by a hex editior and were the Wii stores the IOS.lol i can make it install the IOS has a VC Game.lol but i just get a System corrupt i guess because it doesn't have a banner\ICON, but anyways i guess the same method would have to be used on the version of the IOS which i have not played around with yet or tested might get started on that tomorrow. IF anyone else has a better idea, Please Share, I'm dieing here

make a copy of your Wii_FS before you do this incase you make a mistake
I can make the one that only shows the VC games show IOS's one at a time, just take the IOS folder copy it to the VC Game folder and copy the IOS tickets all of them to the VC Game Ticket folder and it will show the IOS has FM on the Tf packer, after it packs one just remove the IOS folder from the VC game Folder and start on the next IOS that helps you keep track of the IOS's cause it gives them the same Name
thats the Packer i use

Ok first copy the WII_FS to your PC,because it best to have a backup incase of a error then use the program anytitle deleter and go into your system titles and look for the 8 digit code beside the IOS50 and write it down

ok i'll heres my method,
This is really hard for me sense i dont have a wii_fs folder to look at, i wish someone else could give him better direction's

First download this, http://foxingworth.com/wii/tf_wad_packer.zip

first copy your 00000032 folder and go inside the root folder called title0010001 and paste the folder there

now go to the tickets folder called TIKET in root and look under 000000001 and copy the 00000032.tik from there
now go back to the Main Ticket folder and go inside the 00010001 foler and paste the 00000032.tik there now you wii need a copy of the common.key copy it to the TF packer folder i PMed it to you
now load up the TF packer and it should now show FW or Fm and just pack that

I'll upload the common.key now for you

There reason the method is so messed up is because the TF packer wont wont see the ios like it does a VC game
You could try the Older TF packer which i have a download link for a couple of pages back, or you could use ether methods copy just copy out the files in pack with a wad packer, its a couple of pages back also, either should be fine, I not even sure if i gave you the right direction cause i dont have a WII_FS to go over to see the file layout

The program you will want to use is "WaadMaker"

http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=83755

It works the same way as TrentFox's except this time, you have to manually navigate to what your going to pack and it will make the wad and everything for you. No need to touch anything.

Yes use this one, Its alot easier to use, just point to the TMD,
that is if it will work on your PC.lol it wont mine

http://bagra.org/people/61302186455b7707d6...adMaker-1.1.rar

you may still need that commom.key i pmed you, just copy it to the wad maker folder
And i'm pretty sure the TMD is in the content folder just point it to that.
Anyone feel free to correct me

Hey IronMask,

Thanks for that FTPii link. I'm getting steady 560K/sec dumping the nand thru wireless. 16 minutes to dump 500M nand file ain't bad. Love having access to the Wii's Internal File System too.

You guys should try out this new FTPii IronMask found. Might be a little dangerous for some though. I think he posted the link earlier in the thread.
I looked and I lost it so I can't repost the link. Just thought I'd let you all know how much I like the App.

Jizmo,

which version of ftpii are you using..
i parsed the topic for any link by IronMask but could not find it.
i do not have a wii with me right now but if I am not mystaken my ftpii only grant me access to my SD, but I have to admit that I the time I tested it I did no know zip about FS.. so maybe I simply did not see it
