I have Just received my new Acekard 2i but when i tried to start the dsi it comes up" System file is missing " i have another Acekard 2i with the same software on it (AKAIO .1.81 )and it plays no-bother ,the only difference in the 2 cards is that the one that dosent work says DORASU when trying to start the dsi games and the other that works says ALEX RIDER STORMBREAKER

Okay so first off:

1) You're running AKAIO 1.8.1. The latest is 1.8.7. That should fix the "System File Missing" error. You can find the latest here: http://www.acekard.com/download/akaio/AKAIO.1.8.7.zip

Delete your old __aio folder and akmenu4.nds and copy over the new ones.

2) If your Acekard has a Dorasu icon, it is updated to work on DSi 1.4.1 and the initial 3DS firmware. If you have Alex Rider, then it is only updated to run on DSi 1.4.1. The latest DSi firmware is 1.4.2 BUT DO NOT UPDATE YET. Follow the instructions below for BOTH your AK2i's THEN update your DSi.

Download this file. Place the *.nds file labeled with a "DSi" in its file name (not "DSL"). Run on your Acekards to update their internal firmware. You should the Chessmaster icon now.

The difference between this and AKAIO is that this firmware in physically written to the Acekard itself and controls what consoles it can boot on. AKAIO is on the SD card and controls what games can be launched once the Acekard is booted onto the console.
