so. the game is unloaded (return to mainmenu) then loaded again.
this could have a similar effect as is exiting the whole game and starting it again. save data is re-read and all game objects are re-created, getting new memory.
since we're modifying RAM (random access memory), everything is now in new positions and you have to find them again.

simple answer, don't die?

Ahh that's why. For some reason, it didn't click to me that we're editing RAM.
Make sense because of every time I load a new save data regardless of same or different, it changes.
Thanks for the follow up!

Can't hook Monster Hunter, must be running in an emulator. If it is, this could be a great thing for the community. But then again I don't think anything came out of Secret of Mana Collection.

I feel like a dummy, but I've given up on solving this on my own after restoring from a boot0/boot1 nand backup and deleting everything related to sys-netcheat off my sd card.

After running it, my HB Launcher in ReiNX won't work at all. In hekate, it will run completely fine, but it will get stuck on the licensed by nintendo screen if I try to launch a game.

On the other hand, if I try to launch a game first and go to the album to launch homebrew in hekate, it'll lock up entirely on the album UI before even loading the homebrew launcher.

Neither of these issues seem to happen on RajNX, which I just decided to try. Anyone have any advice?

EDIT: Spoke too soon. Launching HB Launcher after starting a game causes me to get Error 2011-0301, causing the system to shut down. Launching it with Wifi off causes similar behavior to Hekate.

Just to be sure, u know that u can't use that with Wifi off?

Has anyone tried hacking HL(Gold) in Disgaea 5? I tried u8, u16, u32, u64, but it doesn't seem to bring anything up on csearches after the initial ssearches.

If i understand this tool correct this runs as small app on the switch and searches on the switch mem itself and is only controlled over network by netcat.
Is there a version which can transfer the memory copy to PC like old tcpgecko on wiiu and a programm to do the search calculation ?

or is there somewhere a IRC or discord to discuss topics like this ?

do you have any suggestion how to safely block all nintendo related on my switch so i can access sys-netcheat?
90dns blocks everything related to nintendo.
Though I don't think netcheat makes hacking your switch any more dangerous unless you cheat in online games.

it's because of the superban wave. i am afraid if i connect to the internet, nintendo will banned me :rofl2:

I was only able to get to this part:

Welcome to netcheat!
This needs fullsvcperm=1 and debugmode=1 set in your hekate-config!
> help

and nothing comes up after I click "enter" after typing "help."
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
