Hacking SwitchBru DNS problem

I want to affirm that something seems to be different. Have a brand new switch that came with 4.1.0 that allows specifying network settings, but when you attempt a connection it gives the network registration error and asks to update system. Can confirm that booting to recovery does not clear it. Will fiddle with network configuration to see if there is a way around it.

Could people having issues try putting in the HBL server as their DNS server?

it's address is: 104.236.106.125

I'm interested in knowing if it still wants you to update or if it displays the HBL page (HBL exploits won't work though, of course)

The same way that you use 45.55.142.122, I've always only had to put it as one DNS, but some people say putting them as both DNS's works better.

(If both DNS are set, it will never look for an update, if one is set it might check for an update if the first DNS server is down.)

Doesn't work anyway, the nag is there.

To those that are having problems on 4.1.0, how did you get to 4.1.0?
  1. Console came with it
  2. Internet updated to it
  3. Cart updated to it

Do any of you have the exfat patch installed? (the sd card update for using SD cards larger than 32gb)
