atmosphere 1.5.4 is not in pre-release state anymore.
Is the latest release of Switch-OC already compatible with 1.5.4?

there has been no code changes from prelease to official release, so 1.5.3 is still compatible with 1.5.4

i'm preparing for a new version of OC-Suite. will be released soon.
(timing adjustment for erista in next version)

Hi @meha ,
Thanks again for this great work by the way :grog:

From my personal testings, what works best for steady and "max" fps (in totk in particular) is :
- moderate CPU boost : 1326 or 1428;
- moderate GPU boost : 844 (even 768 is ok);
- but max possible RAM boost.

Is this someting that I can consider to be true in general or do you think it's just ok for my particular case ?
edit : I'm on Erista by the way...

wdym?
yeah you don't have to max out clocks if you achieve stable 30fps already with lower clocks

The idea behind this question is, what to prioritize in boosting to achieve the goal ?
Without having unnecessary heat and power draw in the process

Typically RAM is the bottleneck for higher FPS.

But to reiterate meha, there is no need to go above and beyond. Once you hit stable/constant 30fps, you're good to go.

Are you able to achieve a stable 30 fps without any overclocking? And when you say max for the memory, which setting did you mean, for a v1 Erista?

Hi,
To answer your questions :
- no, to have constant 30 everywhere (Kakariko...) I have to overclock.
- my max RAM for now is 1600, and with my "moderate" settings for the rest I get what I find a decent battery life without the fan on full.
You answered my question actually, I just wanted to check if my methodology was sound : maxing ram first then get lowest possible values for the rest

v1.6.0
Version 1.6.0 has been released

  • timing adjustment is now available for erista consoles
  • erista max ram freq is lowered to 2131Mhz
  • dram voltage range was changed to reflect official lpddr4 limits (vdd2: ~1175, vddq: 570~650)
  • 1267 freq is added for hiopt table(gpu uv 2) (*note that l4t only allows up to 1228 even with hiopt table)
  • previously interpolated dram timings now use calculation(trtm, twtm, tratm, twatm, tr2ref)
  • some dram timing preset values were changed(tfaw/trrd, twtr, refresh)
  • default rl/wl has been loosened(10->12)
  • tinymembench and memtester now included in pack
Post automatically merged:

version 1.6.1 is released

  • timinigs for erista were adjusted
  • 2397 clock and undervolt for Mariko CPU has been added

Hello, I would like to ask whether the high memory frequency will cause the archive to be damaged. At present, the overclocking I use is 4ifir. The process of my Kingdom Tears archive will be overloaded and then stuck. I tried to delete the files related to overclocking. ,but still the same happens

Now I want to switch to Switch-OC-Suite hanai3Bi Tesla plugin can use this
(github/SunResearchInstitute/sys-clk-Overlay) i can't post link
If I don't need the memory test, can I delete the related plugins tinymembench and memtester

yes overclocking is dangerous. and 4ifir is bad fork of oc-suite and more dangerous.
i recommend you to do a clean Atmosphere install

4IFIR comes as a full pack of Atmosphere, Hekate and homebrew.
So do a full reinstall of everything with normal Atmosphere etc.
Switch OC Suite includes an overlay to control it already. (In .overlays folder set to hidden by default).
The memtests are normal NROs you can run. So yes, you can delete them. Or leave them and never run them.

thanks i see the hidden folder

which sys-clk.nro version should be used for the newest oc-suite? in your older version sys-clk.nro has been included, in the newer versions not. and sys-clk-overlay shows me a fatal error.
