PNes and PSnes work but Retroarch just crashes the system. I open albums then Retroarch black screen for a few seconds then th error message I have to reboot
When launching homebrew/emulators:
You should launch in non-applet mode. Hold down the top R trigger and press A on any game title on main menu while holding down the R until homebrew screen shows, then launch homebrew title.

You can launch non-applet mode with any game title that way, It doesn't matter which game, it won't actually load that game....it will goto homebrew menu using all of switchs RAM access, which retroarch, and other emulators/homebrew require!
Once you get Retro going, you can use all those emulators inside retro, with full RAM access which means they all should run better than before! Good Luck and Have Fun! :grog:

I used to have those kind of errors with RetroArch and I fix them by booting with Fusee-primary and updating the sigpatches for fusee
He was not starting it in Non-applet mode, that was his problem turns out...but yes what you mentioned helps too....

In my case, I did start with full memory for RetroArch and still got those nasty errors, until I start from Fusee with updated sigpatches... weird.

So I'm having a problem formatting my SD card to FAT32. I get a "volume is too big for FAT32" error. Using a 200GB SD Card. Any tips?

i updated super smash bros ultimate using tinfoil but right when it was done atmosphere crashed i tried booting it again with fusee primairy but then i keep getting this error (fetal error (nx boot) failed to mount emummc from sd card partition) can anyone please help me?

I tried diskpart and just the regular old command prompt in windows 10. The error messages are slightly different, both report that the volume is too large, which shouldn't be the case.
I've always recommended GUIFormat and it has never given anyone issues as far as I know so it may worth a shot.

Hey Guys, I am trying to install Tinfoil on a fresh emummc, however, when I hit the tinfoil installer (NRO), the icon on my home menu only shows a loading wheel and no software is installed. I tried using the NSP with awoo installer and Goldleaf and it says I am having issues with my sigpatches, but as far as I know they are up to date (using aio updater). any suggestions? thanks!

Don't use the updater application. In fact, its generally not a good idea to use an updater application for anything. Manually updating anything is always better. Grab the latest patches from here

Thanks Drax, Since its a fresh install I didnt realize I had to update the hekate sig patches, not the fusee ones. looks like tinfoil is going. Thanks! However now its telling me I should boot from fusee-primary.bin to boot to atmosphere so I have to figure out how to do that again any suggestions? lol

UPDATE! I think I was able to load from fusee primary bin, I moved it into my bootloader payloads folder and it came up, I think thats all I needed... let me know if I messed it up lol
