I should have been more clear, sorry. If you use Hekate.bin payload to boot, it should be in that folder. If you use fusee.bin payload to boot, then no need for it to be on the Switch.

Hi all,

So I'm still new to this so please forgive me.

Basically I wanted to update my Switch firmware to 17.0.1 so I download the latest one from darthsternie.net and used daybreak to update it which seemed fine.

When I rebooted my Switch, it came up with the error code, "Unable to identify package1" so I downloaded the latest fusee bin being 6.0.7 and try to fix it that way but no luck.

Being a bit worried, I just decided to redo the whole modding again, so I downloaded the latest atmosphere, hekate and sigspatches and try to reinstall it, but got the yellow screen of death.

Thinking I need to create a new EmuMMC, I create a new one via partition then part 1 which didn't solve the problem.
Finally I did some digging any found out that I need to fully delete and replace atmosphere, not just replace the old files and keep the new files which got me back to the main switch page.

However, all my games and programs aren't showing up, even though they are still on the SD card. I believe this is because of the new emuMMC, but I'm not sure how I can fix this.

Appreciate anyone's suggestions on how to fix this. Thank you in advance.

Update: I managed to redirect my Switch EmuMMC to go to my previous one which brought my games and programs back. Now the games or programs won;t load. Depending on what I click on, it will either say that the game can't be opened and try again from the home screen or that the micro SD is corrupted even though it's fine on my computer.

Anyone have any idea how to solve this?

Where did you download your patches from? Not all places have the most up-to-date patches.

Hello GBATemp. I have a question on Breeze/Edizon. I can't find any cheats even though they are reflected in tinfoil. Here is an example. I used to have cheats for SSBU. However I am unable to find the cheats in SSBU anymore. Instead of my usual cheats, I am now seeing only FPS mods. Someone please help as it has applied through all the titles I have.

Most likely you updated the game, and the old cheats don't work on the new game version. Downgrade back to older version of the game, or wait for cheats to be made for the newer game version.

Check the game update version and the cheat bid.

I just bought a Switch Lite V2 from eBay and a HWFLY RP2040 Lite chip from AliExpress. Today, the Switch Lite arrived and is currently at 16.0.3. I'm not sure whether I should update or not, before installing the mod. Any ideas, folks?

Firmware doesn't matter if you are using Modchip, after you install the Hwfly RP2040 Lite , do a NAND backup.

I'm doing this thread knowing that there are other threads with the same trouble, but I've read those threads and I think that the trouble I have isn't the same.
I was playing Tears of the Kingdom, and I put the Switch to sleep because I wanted to snack on something. But when I finished, I turned on the Switch, and TA-DA! This image appeared:



Idk what I can do, 'cause I read that this problem was caused by bricking when updating the console. But I haven't done anything. I put it on sleep mode not even half an hour. It doesn't even have the internet activated because it is in airplane mode, and it doesn't have 90DNS or Incognito either. How could it have been bricked? I literally only use it to play

Was it because of a theme? And if not, does anyone know what it could be? I'm desperate

i’m making a backup of my sd rn incase of corruption and all that, it’s a 512GB sd card that’s mostly full and i don’t really have anywhere to put that kind of data lol. i was curious if there’s any way to make a backup without including the actual game download data?

cause other than that there’s not much on there and my wifi is pretty good i would be fine having to redownload all my games in the event of corruption i just wouldn’t want to lose my save data and emunand backup with my homebrew and preferences and all that.

i have a backup of the emunand using hekate and i’ve uploaded all my saves to google drive using jksv, if i just deleted the nintendo folder on my sd backup would i still have everything i need to restore everything if anything goes wrong ever?

Sounds like your sd card is failing or is corrupted. I would first remove it and backup all data on pc. If you are using Emunand, use this tool. https://gbatemp.net/threads/emutool...r-sd-switch-emu-type-on-sxos-and-more.550756/ Then run h2testw to check the sd card for errors. If no errors, format to fat32 and reinstall data to sd card. If there is errors, get a new sd card and then reinstall all data.
