Is it generally inadvisable to update installed NSPs through the eShop on Sysand? Sometimes NSPs don't have the updates files, I thought this might be a good way to fetch updates and back them up.

Do you mean installed nsps as pirated games on sysnand? If you connect to the eShop with these installed, you're asking for a ban. Just get your updates the same way you got the nsp in the first place. They come as nsps too, but with a higher version number.

I am using sthetix HATS package, but unfortunately it doesn't provide guidelines to set up a emummc. I am studying this guide https://rentry.org/MarikoEmuNAND but it uses fusee payload and another config files values. Should I go straight to the step 3 while using HATS package (create partion and install)? Or do I need to change something?

Change
payload=bootloader/payloads/fusee.bin
icon=bootloader/res/icon_payload.bmp

To
[CFW (EMUMMC)]
fss0=atmosphere/package3
kip1patch=nosigchk
emummcforce=1
icon=bootloader/res/emummc.bmp
{}

But first you must use hekate to make your emunand.

You can use either of them it depend on how you decide to boot, the top one skip sysnand if you have an emunand.

So actually not changes from default package from sthetix HATS, right? I made the partition for emunand (non oled so 29 full), then a made a backup. I loaded emunand and Atmosphere and tinfoil were both functional. Tyvm for the support Hayato, you made my life much easier showing me HATS.

All the repack pack out there use fss0 build like deepsea, sd setup, HATS etc. HATS is just pre build pack ready to go use, if you were using standard Atmosphere there is no sig patches or hekate come along with it.

Hi all,

maybe I am using the wrong key words but I cannot find an anwer to the following:

I was running my switch offline since ages and used CFW. In beetween firmware updates were needed so I installed them via Daybreak.

Question: If I use haku33 it will try its best to clean off traces of CFW etc. but what about the firmare? When I first used the switch it was a total different firmware. Does it even make sense to try haku33 or will the difference in firmware result in a ban anyway?

Just want to know if it is worth a try or I should just keep using it offline with CFW.

Haku33 won't prevent a ban.

Alright. So I have two options:

1. Can either keep on using it as it is.
2. Run haku33, go online, get banned and go back to use it offline again. :D

So just out of curiosity Haku33 would have only worked if I didn't have messed with the firmware?

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I will go with option 1.

If you want to play online you need a clean NAND, Haku33 ain't the answer.

Hi everyone. Well, some years ago I did a Micro SD upgrade to my switch and everything went smoothly. But yesterday, I bought a micro SD for my son, I am going to upgrade his SD cards but, my dumb brain can´t remember how I did it back then!! (a good 3 years ago!!) :rofl: I searched the site and indeed there are many tutorials BUT WITH EMUNAND. He doesn't have an emunand, so my question is, just copy and paste? Or are there some extra steps to take before that. I would really appreciate your help. Thank you!!!

NAND backups are console specific. You can try wiping the SD card and hope that the serial number is being blanked using exosphere and not Incongito because if Incognito was used on the sysMMC without a backup, then the console is functionally banned.
I tried out looking at the files that came with the setup before wiping it all to start over and it was indeed exosphere, so thankfully I could just redo it all and have a working sysMMC and emuMMC! Though on emuMMC I keep getting asked for cloud save backups even though I have 90DNS on it, kind of annoying but I couldn't really find a satisfying workaround (As I need a nintendo account linked for the NSO apps, I don't know if linking a fake account would work here.)

Hi guys, I have two problems after upgrading Switch to the latest Atmospere:

1. My two Pro Controllers no longer work. Both of them give no signs of life when I connect them to the USB port of the Dock;

2. The same problem with the Cartdrige: no charging anymore!

What can I do? Thank you very much!
