OK NICE! So is the best way to hack a new switch to update it to fw v. 9 and then use the fusee gele? Or should I use the fusee gelee and then update it later to the firmware version I want?

If you want to keep your fuse count lower, first install CFW and then update with ChoiDujourNX.

My hbmenu doesn't come up with the right bumper... But it does with the left. Also it doesn't look like the usual hb menu. Any ideas?

If your sysnand is clean you can play online if it isn't you will probably get ban.

If you didn't make a NAND backup via Hekate prior to running any CFW then it is not clean.

In your system string if it says E then you have emunand, if it has a S then you are on sysnand.

System Settings/System/Current Version, it says 8.0.1|AMS 0.9.3|S

Actually I need some help... I'm using atlas and atmospher ... I have the hbmenu but I cannot get the new tinfoil to work. Any help would be appreciated.

It has nothing to do with emuMMC and sysMMC being on different firmware versions. If you update sysMMC to 9.0, you will not be able to boot it up without burning fuses hence not being able to downgrade.

Lets say that I boot from hekate to clean sysMMC and update it to 9.0.0 (dirty emuMMC stays at 8.1.0).
You're saying that now I'll burn fuses if I boot to sysMMC from hekate?
