Does the emuMMC folder on the sd card with the rest of my files have anythign in it which could be salvaged?

how do i make an half-broken emmc work again.

it works on my pc with a mmcblknx reader, but on the console, it flashes about RST errors.

i shorted rst the first time i installed a chip, then fixed it, and bought a replacement of ebay. problem is the replacement is also broken(games corrupt).

so i want to restore my original emmc.

do i have to reload the firmware or something?
 
Could anyone advise how to start afresh with a 1st gen switch (I use an RCM jig)? I’d like to remove all traces of CFW etc. from the console and begin the process from scratch like I did when I first got it.

just format the sd card. nothing is changed on the console
 
We’ll I am still stumped with playing a modded version if Lets Go Pikachu on a modded Switch. We’ll hypothetically, if I were to have the physical cartridge of LGP, would I then be able to add the mod to it? If so, what are the steps?

I can’t seem to find the base game online & i get redirected from certain sites so Im worried about getting malware.

Its strange, I was able to find Pokemon Sword rather easily 2 months ago but Lets Go Pikachu is hard to find for some reason. When I get the chance, ill see if i can get it on some discount, then I can dump if from there,
 
I am setting up CFW on my SD card again using this guide https://switch.homebrew.guide/hacking/fuseegelee/sdsetup but noted that the version of atmosphere on sdsetup.com is 1.5.2. I see that 1.5.4 is available on github.

Can I just copy and paste the atmosphere 1.5.4 folders and files (atmosphere, switch and hbmenu.nro) into the sd folder created by sdsetup (thereby replacing the 1.5.2 files) and continue following the guide?



Separately, is it necessary to backup my NAND and keys again? I did this the first time I set up CFW and I still have them stored securely.

I am currently creating an emuMMC using this guide: https://switch.homebrew.guide/emummc/emummc
At step 3, Hekate's partition manager tells me that my files will be wiped. I tried copying the SD files to my PC using USB UMS and by plugging the SD directly into my PC but neither would let me copy everything over. My PC will not allow me to copy the switch folder (nor its contents) to my PC to make a backup. All other files and folders are copied correctly. If I try to open any of the folders within the switch folder on my PC, I get the error message 'location is unavailable'.



Update for future reference: I copied the remainder of the files over to my PC (minus the switch folder). I then proceeded with the partition which removed all files from my SD. I copied the backup files from my PC back to the sd card and then copied the switch folder I had from a previous SD card backup, replaying the prod.keys files with the backup I made earlier in the CFW process.

All appears to be working.

hey i use yuzu and was wondering how to make my own cheats i think someone said before i need breeze or edizon but im not really sure how to install either if anyone could help i'd appreaciate it bc i have no idea what im doing
