XKW, XKJ and all other consoles with a K after the X letter are the mariko revision. They are all patched.

Hello, I just purchased a switch from ebay and confirmed the serial starts with xaw100742XXX.

I can't help, but be anxious that this switch is possibly patched since it is close to the border.

In this thread, I saw one person reported 10075 to be patched, but two reported 10074 to be unpatched.

I'm guessing no one has reported 10074 range to be patched, but how many actually reported that it is safe? If it was only two people saying 10074 is safe, I'm starting to feel more anxious.

After taking a look at the spreadsheet, I would say your odds are pretty good that it's unpatched. Even if it's patched, odds are pretty good it's on 4.1.0. If the Switch is patched, but it's on 4.1.0 and has never connected to the internet, it is still hackable.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will definitely report my results here. When you say spreadsheet, are you talking about the pinned first post?

Also, this is used so chances are it is past 4.1.0 which I just assumed and didn't ask the seller.
It is RCM or bust for me.

This doesn't necessarily have to be the case. Among the XAW1007 models, there were most likely some that were patched. For example the SSBU or Pokemon Evoli and Pikachu units. There were also unpatched ones iirc.

I'd subjectively put your chances at 90%, since there are some likely errors on the spreadsheet.

Confirmed that my switch is not patched. I'm running backups right now. I had slight scare because after I inject hekate, the screen would remain black. I just reformatted my sd card and it worked as expected.

I bought this console on Junuary 2018 but occording to the cuotes posted in this forum it was fabricated on December 2017, so was the firmware 4.1.0 and not 4.0.1 the initial one?

That is just a possible firmware, patched unit started coming out with firmware 4.1.0 and above.

Nintendo updated the console to 4.1.0 on December 4.
