Critique isn't hating. People should stop feeling offended all the time calling people out " you're just hating". You can still like something while criticizing it. There's nothing wrong with that. Criticizing should always be ok since it makes the company you love grow but these last years fanboyism and especially in Nintendo area has been on the rise that everything is considered hateful and you can't criticize anything anymore. The gaming community sure got toxic as hell. Why can't people just share what they think without it turning in an all out war having to defend every single word you're typing down
I don't mind critique if it can be backed by fact. I'll admit no company or product is perfect. But it seems a lot of people, especially a select few in the temp, like to use emotion, bias and opinion to back their claims that the system is already a failure. And then they like to go around telling people they are Nintendo sheep and retarded for enjoying the product they purchased.

Most of the actual critics (least in this board) of the nintendo switch, and I mean critics, not haters, have issues with notably build quality. Now these people don't even mention BotW most of the time, and I would agree with them though I am far less knowledgeable of the subject. I've noticed screen fragility and cheap dock design in regards to mine. I still love it, but I know it has flaws. Some of these flaws are fatal to other people's eyes.

What I'm really hoping for is either for 3rd parties to make their own dock that's more than a hunk of plastic, or possibly a tutorial of how to make your own dock. Yes I could buy a cover for the dock but that doesn't give me any reassurance with how flimsy it seems to be.

I know you have some problem with reason.. but you want to legitimately criticize? More power to you.. You want to pound away at your keyboard like some dumbass little child and just talk shit? There's a problem.

Said it three times now. Pay attention.

Biased hatred is among some of the dumbest things I can find on the internet.. Seeing it on the forums where a good majority of us are above 20? Yeah....

What are you talking about? You are calling me a dumbass, and I am the child here? Its not biased hatred, I buy all the consoles and play computer games. If I don't like something I dont really care what others have to say. It is pathetic you resort to calling people dumbasses because they don't like the same things you do. I understand you come from the special snowflake generation, but you need to learn to respect other peoples opinions.

That's what happens when you use a limited storage format...

I keep seeing these two words together.. yet no one can give any proof as to how they came to this opinion.

Genuinely curious, why do people believe this? A link would be great.

Gamecube wasn't as bad, granted, but hardware wise, it slaughtered the PS2 and the N64 was beefier than the PSX.

I loved the N64 and the GameCube. I personally believe the GameCube controller was and still is the best. Just needs one more shoulder button and clickable sticks.

I didn't grow up with GameCube at all. Frankly imo 360 controller was better. But in terms of the way it fit in my hand, the original duke controller for the Xbox was the nicest, probably because I have fairy large hands. The GameCube controller just doesn't fit my hands very well. Same issue with the fairly short grips on ps1/2/3 controllers.

Up until the ps4, I never cared for the Dualshock controllers.

>op complaints about haters
>Doesn't mention the die hard nintendo fanboys that insults too and DDoS attack other people

can't take op seriously.
I think op is more talking about the behavior seen in the switch section of temp, rather than everywhere and everything in general. Because I've been seeing people with no intent on getting a switch ridicule those who are enjoying their switch

I'm really enjoying the switch and zelda not sure why people want to hate on something they do not have to buy. No, it don't carry the horsepower as Xbox and Ps4 but at least it's not the same as them. If Nintendo put everything into CPU and gpu then we would have 3 identical systems to choose from. A majority of gamers choose more than 1 system anyways why not a switch and an Xbox or PlayStation instead of only a switch or only an xbox or only a PlayStation.

He says it clear on his post "why people is hating on switch" but never mentions people with a switch that insults the other two consoles too. He is only seeing his side of the things.

People have always insulted consoles. Nintendo, sony and microsoft fanboys have always insulted each other. Nothing new here. Nintendo people is as toxic as the others.

In my experience ps and Xbox fans are a little more hateful to Nintendo fans than Nintendo fans are to others.

X1 is about 1.3 TF, minus .2 for OS, so 1.1 TF gaming power. The Switch is 1 TF.

Either way its a shit-ton closer than the PSP was to the PS3.

Except that the PSP was released 2 years BEFORE the PS3, while the Switch was released 3 years AFTER the Xbox One.

It's a powerful handheld because it has newer guts.

Haven't you looked recently at digital foundry switch videos? The comments sections are toxic af. People from both sides attack each other.

Well if you want to go down that road, even the Vita which was released 5 years after the ps3, still wasn't anywhere near as powerful as the ps3. The switch on the other hand is about 3 times as powerful as the Wii U.

In fact, now that PS4 has come to PS Now which is available on PC, I can literally say that I can find zero reason to buy a Sony or Microsoft console.

PS3 games on PS Now already have a lower resolution, lower framerate, and no surround audio. I can't imagine PS4 games are going to be much different on the service. Those three reasons are enough for me to want to play console exclusives on the actual hardware rather than streaming. But I guess if someones playing on anything smaller than a 45" tv with no decent audio gear... it wouldn't really matter.

The vita is still smaller than the switch and is using even older hardware than it... at least it runs DQH at a better frame rate than the switch in some places but that's another story...

That is the strangest one yet. The switch is a couple inches wider but so is the screen. So you're basically complaining about a bigger screen.

I have the same problem. The gamecube controller is odd for me to hold. It's to small and to clumsy for me. But the newer Xbox controller and the 360 controller are really good, especially the Xbox One controller.
I got the same problem with Playstation's controllers as well. I really dislike the placement of the joysticks and I much prefer how Microsoft has them. Probably one more reason why I like the Pro controller so much for the Switch, it feels really nice.

Even if that's true I brought up the PSP Go because they're the same idea, right down to the dock for video out. The Vita's unrelated and it's also old tech now.
