Hi there, i never registered the forum before but came a lot of time when i was doing Nintendo Switch repair back then. But for couple of years, i must be honest, i was really busy working on other things than console repair.
I need help in troubleshooting what is the problem with a Switch V2 HAD-CPU-01 board (i guess it’s a V2 ? I am rusty after that much time without touching anything).
The console did not have any water damage or so, doesn’t look like someone already attempted anything on it.
The symptoms are simple, no backlight. I can see the LCD working with a torch, the touchscreen is also responsive, if i put the console in a dock, all working good on the TV, but no backlight.
I noticed after removing the battery connector and putting it back that when i power on the console, the backlight works for a brief instant (a second or a bit less) and then nothing.
Where would you start looking ?
