This has always been my reaction to video games, whether they're on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo. They all have their own purpose and they all have their own games designed specifically for those consoles. This, to me, is what makes the consoles worth obtaining.

Don't get me wrong. I think the PS5 or the Xbox One could do Zelda games a shitload better than the Switch. But the Zelda games aren't designed to be played on those consoles for a reason and for that, I'm very glad. Sure, Nintendo is creating a console that is technically worse than the PS5 or the Xbox One is currently, but does that really mean shit if the games are good and play amazingly well? Nope. Buy it, enjoy it. Buy the PS5 or the Xbox One if you're into those, but don't push your preference on everyone else.

very well said, they all could use improvements in areas but they all have reasons for one to prefer one over another which if were going by console war logic that's the point but i think that's where people get stuck on, while yes xbox may have some aspects that are better than nintendo and sony and vice versa anyone is free to enjoy what they want no problem and i think that's the beauty of video games, there's something for everyone and one shouldn't be ashamed to enjoy whatever they find as long as it's [LEGAL AND MORALLY SOUND] ofc.

Seems like Nintendo has lost some creativity, like they couldn't think of a better name so they just went with 2.

I mean they've never in their history called a console or handheld 2. There was 2DS but that was just a different version of the 3DS not a sequel.

But honestly I don't really care, just show me the good games and I'll be fine.

Because Nintendo has a history of being quirky and innovative, while $ony & M$ have always went "just upgrade the hardware a bit and ship it as a new product".
