Survival kids 2 crash

Gbc rom survival kids 2 on ez-flash definitive edition (Simple theme) freeze/crash right after the intro at the beginning.
Have tried different roms from different websites to rule out rom corruption, unfortunately the problem remains.
Other gbc roms play fine on my ez flash de so that's not the problem either

Any experience or could someone please test this ?

it's probably just the emulator goombacolor. some games don't work well like crystal.
