Yeah, I noticed that it wouldn't read the second layer of my DVD movie. Yes, I'm using this to rip DVD movies. Anyway, first layer worked just fine, so I know it ripped the movie fine, now I'll just have to revert to 13a and try this again.

I tried to rip Metroid Prime Trilogy with both v1.2 and v1.3 of Superdump and they both work fine. I have rev 13b, and all seems to work.

I am a bit curious thou: Is v1.3 "official"? It's not included in the first post, so I was wondering. Are there any downsides to any version? I liked v1.3 better, but the difference seem to be very slight.

Basically, should I use v1.3 over v1.2?

v1.3 uses the discid in the file name so you can dump more than 1 game (if it fits on your card/drive) at a time without copying the files to the PC.
I don't think there are any downsides besides the one I posted here.

Ok. Sorry to bring up an old thread, and VERY sorry to post such an overused question, but how do you get past the "Error reading sector data" error? And don't tell me about the previous posts, cause I already tried to install the cIOS, but I always get "Error (ret-2011)", so I looked online and found I needed to downgrade my wii, so I tried to activate the downgrader, but it just went back to the homebrew start after loading. Any REAL help on what I need to do, like a step-by-step guide or something?

Okay, Im trying to Dump The conduit to My 4gb SD card, but it says i don't have enough space to fit 3000mb (3gb) but i have 3.6gb left on the card. Whats up? And one other thing. This saves the files as .bin files right? How do you change that to an ISO?

The BIN files outputted by this app are merely renamed ISOs. If you need to merge some of the BIN files (stupid FAT32 limits), follow these instructions.

Dialexio said:
This goes into the command prompt for Windows XP and up.
Code:
copy /b 0.bin+1.bin+2.bin wii.iso

And to recap, for *nix systems (including Mac OS X):
Code:
cat 0.bin 1.bin 2.bin > wii.iso

Add/remove #.bin files as necessary. If it doesn't work, the files probably aren't in the same directory the Terminal is in.

So i take all the bin files to C:// then type that in?

That could work, but you could also use "cd" to change the directory. For instance, this will tell the Command Prompt to go to drive E.
Code:
cd E:\

You can also specify folder names like so:
Code:
cd "C:\Program Files"

You guys know that the creator of this program intentionally put in checks for illegal tickets, and will mangle them. Just a fair warning. Perhaps someone could code a similar app without being a hypocrite.

i have two chunks 0.bin 3GB & 1.bin 1.37GB, how long should this take to merge using this method?

your problem is cIOS rev14. It s known bug that it can't read the last sectors of the first layer of a disc.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
