Hacking Supercard Mini SD

If I were to purchase a Supercard mini SD, can I just use a micro SD card with a micro SD to mini SD adapter? Or do I need to use a mini SD card?

I'm pretty positive an adapter would work. Like when you use a micro sd card with an adapter to make it an SD card, it works in the wii. I have a micro to mini adapter...I haven't used it but I'm pretty sure it would work the same way. The device would just recognize it as a mini SD card if you used an adapter.

. The deal is, I'd rather purchase a micro SD than a mini SD, just in case I ever get another flash cart that uses micro SD (since pretty much all of the newer cards seem to utilize that type).
