Hi everyone, I've read some reviews on the EZ-Flash V Bundle pack being a 3 in 1 with ram support of 256mbit.
My motive in either buying the EZ-Flash V Bundle pack or the Supercard lite is simply because of the ram support in order to use Opera.

I was just wondering what everyone else's opinion on this would be.

Correct me if im wrong, but the 3 in 1 expansion pack has 256mbit of ram, while the supercard lite has 32megabytes of ram, so meaning that they are both equal correct?

but the 3 in 1 does not allow expandable memory to enter a micro SD? or am i wrong.

I'd Greatly appreciate it if you guys can help me out with a decision or some information between the two choices.

Thanks in advance.

If your getting the supercard lite you will still need a slot 1 solution that runs rom, to run opera. With the EZ-Flash V you get everything.

yea, i already own a R4DS, and was hoping that if i do buy the 3 in 1 bundle seperately from bamboo gaming, maybe in the future it will be compatible with the R4.

I just recently read on the forums that m3 lite is another choice for RAM support?

Unless your interested in the other feautures of EZ-V Bundle pack (Rumble+Better GBA Support), I think SuperCard Lite is best for you. (Not the rumble edition, that one won't work)
The EZ-V expension pack gets it's GBA rom transfered from the MicroSD in the slot1 EZ-V cartridge, so no you can't put a MicroSD in it seperately. But the MicroSD doesn't influence the amount of RAM or something...

Also yes M3 Lite can be used for Opera RAM with the patch as well, but is a tad more expensive, make sure you don't pick the Pro edition here, cause that won't work either...

cool, thanks alot monkey.

well, now it narrows it down to either the supercard lite or the m3 lite.
if money wasnt the issue, which one would be a better choice with the pros/cons?

i heard that supercard lite has some problems with GBA fucntion or something like that, im not sure if thats true or not.

SuperCard's GBA compatibility is crap yes, lot's of slowdowns, graphical glitches and just bad compatibility.
M3 Lite's GBA compatibility on the other hand is nearly perfect.
So if GBA compatibility is of importance I think M3 Lite is the better choice...

the supercard on some games, you can tell the game is lagging, and whats more you can cheat on M3, there is a M3 cheat program called dipstar, if you use your M3 to play nds roms you can use dipstar a gameshark program for the M3 flash cart, or you can even cheat on the games you are already playing just convert and transfer saves between the two cards.

here are some games and gameshark codes as a example.

hmm, but if i don't plan to play any GBA games and i plan to just use the slot2 for ram support for opera, and also nds games then would supercard be the better choice of all slot2's yes?

I still dont see why EZ -flash V bundle isnt being considered now.. The price is VERY reasonable from bamboogaming! (on the flipside I had a SC for my DS phat and it was hard as nails)

Also remember you are buying it with the thought in mind that you would be using it for a while; so consider future games and what they might need.

unsure.gif
). then i could could play command and conquer 95(i would just download a crack to run, wait i would need both cracks beacuse theres NOD and GDI). Supercardlies really have 32 megabytes of ram, thats a whole lot of ram

well, all in all, it all comes down to which slot 2 would be the best choice for ram support? both ez flash V and supercard lite offers 32 mb of ram.

how much ram does m3 lite offer?

The EZ-V 3 in 1 cart does NOT have 32 megabytes of ram, It has 32 megs of NORflash for GBA games. It has 8 megs of ram for the browser - the same amount as the actual browser ram cart.

The M3 lite has 32 megabytes of ram. I don't think the browser will use more than the 8 megs it was programmed for, regardless of how much is available.

The supercard browser hack supposedly has graphical glitches, but I don't know how much of a problem it is.

it says in big letters, for use with ez flash v slot 1 only, so if he just wants it for ram for his other slot 1 flash cart he would be throwing his money away since it as of right now only works for ez flash v, not to mention it can only hold 1gba game at a time, it does not allow you to plug anything into it, it has Nor so you would need to install the gba game using the ez flash v client on the slot 1 micro sd, its not really a option if you want to homebrew, its only for gba and ram and rumble of course.

I think pretty much everyone has grasped the fact that it only works with ez flash v.

May I refer you to the title of the topic.

OR EZ-Flash V Bundle Pack

Notice the "Bundle Pack". It means if he was he would be buying as a BUNDLE and hence

so if he just wants it for ram for his other slot 1 flash cart he would be throwing his money away since it as of right now only works for ez flash v

------

not to mention it can only hold 1gba game at a time,

Why is that? Why it's for DS-GBA linking!!
ohmy.gif
I dont know about you or anyone else, but I'd rather have the linkage rather than the ability to see more than 1 GBA game in a list before I play it. Note you ca only PLAY 1 game at a time hence wat is so bad about storing only one game
ohmy.gif

----

it does not allow you to plug anything into it

That is bad because? The slot one is more and adequate enough to negate the "plugging anything into" the expansion.
------

it has Nor so you would need to install the gba game using the ez flash v client on the slot 1 micro sd

Yes, that is how the GBA games get there in the first place. Which is more or less a copy paste of the features / "how to" list.
------

its not really a option if you want to homebrew

Personal Experience: All the homebrew that i want works without hitch.

Also let me drop this bombshell DLDI
--------

ts only for gba and ram and rumble of course.

Bundle Bundle Bundle!
