On some games the menu only works in certain places, like on sonic and sega allstars racing you can only do it when you are racing

and for quoting wrap the words in quote tags
Code:
[quote]blah blah [/quote]

or press quote under the post you want to quote

Dammit. I can't use Moonshell. Is there any way to disable it from doing disk checks? Because it gives me this error:
QUOTE(Moonshell [img said:
http://gbatemp.net/vanilla/emoticons/ohnoes.png[/img])]A fatal error has occurred!

Several files are using the same disk space.
Some files are already corrupt.

Recovery method:
blah blah

I really don't want to reformat my card because transferring all those files takes ages...

Aw, damn, guess I'll start copying files already then. I assume it was caused by the DSONE(i)'s EOS, that had trouble with certain gamess cheats and thus always created a lot of duplicate .DSO files.

Overlord Nadrian, you dont need to reformat.

right click on yer micro sd, choose 'properties', then 'tools', click 'check now' and 'auto fix errors'.

after its done checking the sd, moonshell2 should boot up.

works for me anyhow, i cant stand reformatting my 8gig, cuz it takes forever to re-add all my junk.

Anyone know what the hell the new reset sample is? Is it just a new soft-reset mechanism which maybe works on homebrew? Hopefully we can configure it to go back to DS_GAME rather than the main menu.

CODE//reset program sample
//arm9
void game_reset(void)
{
IPCSendCommand( IPC_MSG_BOOT_SLOT1 );
REG_IME = 0;
REG_IE = 0;
REG_IF = ~0;
int i;
for (i=0;i

Concerning "Castlevania - Portret of Illusions"

Either clean, trimmed or patched doesn't matter. Multiple dumps tried.

Clean it doesn't run, trimmed or untrimmed.

Patched and trimmed or untrimmed it's playable up until you resume a saved game or press start ingame.

Top screen shows the map, lower screen goes black. System stops responding entirely. Power off button as reset to main menu works, the rest does not.

During gameplay, some tearing occurs (or glitches)

Anyone recognizes this trouble and/or has a possible solution?

Quick question, what's the best cheat file to use for GBA emulation? I got mine from this site's cheat database and I can't seem to access a lot of cheats. For instance, for the Fire Emblem cheats, I only see experience cheats for the first three units.

I've been converting video to my DS through converting it to WMV, then using dpgen, but the quality is pretty bad, and the sound has static.

Is there a better converter to DPG? because I would like higher quality video.

If there is, please explain what settings I should use on it too.

Super and BatchDPG are the ones I always used when converting DPG videos, they worked like a charm.

On another note, your signature is too large, you can't see the :mthrcrpr: banner anymore.

That's up to you. I'd say Super but BatchDPG is included with Moonshell so that might be easier to get. There is no 'best' DPG converter, just a couple of really good ones, the difference only lies in personal preference.
