I couldn't really find an answer to this. If it's obvious, sorry for asking.

So, I'm trying to upload HGSS battles from the battle recorder, since my webcam is crap and the quality is bad. How exactly would I go about doing this? I tried placing the save in the battery folder, but the ROM doesn't load.

Try renaming the .sav file to the same name as the rom without the .nds replace it with .sav (pokemon heart gold.nds, pokemon heart gold.sav)

Convert it from "DS Linker" (Supercard One is the same type) to "No$GBA"

Hmm, I got it to the load screen, but when I clicked on continue, it said that the ROM image crashed. o_o;

Wait.. the ROM itself is giving you problems? Then it's a bad ROM.
The save shouldn't cause your game to crash.

It's worked completely fine on my actual card, though. I've beaten the game already (including Red), and have been playing since the game was ripped, without any crashes.

Oh... there's a patch for HG/SS on No$GBA.

I've already used the two anti-crashing patches (the Japanese one and Rudolph's), do you mean one of the English patches?

Like I said, I've only patched it with the anti-crashing patches, like it was recommended. I haven't patched it with the English patches because those are incomplete.

Well, I used both on the same patch, like it was recommended. >_>

I've heard of people using both of them at the same time on emulators.

Should change the topic title since your problem isn't with the save, but with the ROM itself.

So, even though it's worked perfectly fine on the actual card, the ROM's still bad? D:

Dunno...
But it's either a bad ROM or needs some sort of patch/bypass.
I had a ROM that would work on No$GBA, but not my flashcard, so I could see it happening both ways.
Neither of which are related to SuperCard DS One or Saves.

Hopefully internal storage is at least 256gb be kind of dumb to stick with 64 or lower

    Wasn't that already confirmed?

    Or just rumoured?

Nothings been confirmed directly from Nintendo yet

I think the carts will be bigger flash size, and have a new lotus 4 protections so that can't be dumped say with a MIG dumper

@BigOnYa, That's what I was thinking before when I last mentioned the Switch 2 gamecards.

Different Lotus ASIC with additional protection which could break MIG support, larger NAND size for bigger games, etc.

Watch it be defeated by opening the cart

I wonder if there could be some denuvo on the carts

Probably but kind of pointless it'll be a while before anyone gets any dumps out
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
Iirc it was the clip thing that triggered the og exploit but now since switch 2 uses clip in pins that's out the window
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
Wasn't that fixed in the mariko and oled?
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
Yeah but that's how they get dumps you need some type of cfw

Pin layout for carts is probably redesigned in different orders to where it wouldn't even be compatible with mig anyway

Not believing any leaked details tell it's official Nintendo could easily swap ground to data and that'd be enough for an entire new layout
