Tbis post is made to celebrate that our hopes are NOT lost yet.
Today, Sakurai revealed that the last 5th character to join the Smash Ultimate roster was non other than Byleth, a fucking Fire Emblem character.
So... can we discuss who could be the next 6 DLC fighters that are YET to be announced?

Here's my predictions:
  • Geno
  • Rayman
  • Doom Slayer
  • Dante
  • Akuma
  • Persona or Fire Emblem character

Not all of these are characters i'd want but it seems reasonable.
Also one of those could be changed for a Nintendo-owned character.

The Nintendo Wars series is underrepresented. I wish Kaiser Vlad or Ubel would get a chance (calling in air strikes etc).
Also neither 1080 nor Wave Race have any representation in terms of characters or stages. One character actually appeared in both series...

Anyway a Tekken or Soul Calibur representation is likely but I have no clue who it could be. Killik would be awesome due to his weapon (Ivy has a whip but we already have Simon/Richter).

I personally would love to see Gouken (rather than Akuma) but I consider both unlikely.
