GEMISIS has released a new demo of Super Smash Bros. DS v0.2. This project is not the same as Super Smash Bros. Rumble.

What's new in this version?
Start with 3 levels
Start with 3 Characters

7 unlockable characters
A variety of characters
A variety of levels
Auto save feature
4 New characters
3 Returning Characters
All Brand new stages (except for maybe 2)
High score table (still working on fixing, but will definitely be in 3rd demo, if not this one)
Main Menu Music
1 Fight able Enemy (depends on which character, but might be fixed in time for demo)

The coder of this project, Gemisis took up an alliance with Smash Bros. Rumble, he said he could fix the FAT loading issue, but as soon as the source has handed over to him, the turncoat took our sprites, our stages, our code, everything he could manage to implement. This is a rip-off, and I would encourage you to support the original, Super Smash Bros. Rumble.

EDIT: It just crossed my mind on the subject of plagiarism, that they're basically nicking a Nintendo game and manipulating it, then putting it on DS. Milord, Methinks there is a lowly hypocrit amongst us...
Would you be steamed if You and your team had spent more than a year developing a game, and than one of you so called allies ripped the whole thing off? of course you wouldn't. you would thank him for plagiarizing, because plagiarism is awesome, of course. Why shopuld anybody be angry over that? I certainly don't know. Does anybody else know?

Wow. Way to handle this well. We're not just the end users, we're your target audience. We're the sole reason why you make this stuff.

You spit on us, and we won't support your projects at all.

Please keep things civil and on topic.
You can choose to support this or not, just keep the flames away from this topic.

If this IS based on stolen work then I wouldn't support it out of principle either.
It's one thing to take a concept or idea, but to take someone else's work without permission or proper credit is another.

no offense to either project, but the game looks like sh*t neways. im sure you've put a lot of work into it. but when the character sprites have a grand total of like 4 animations and there is less depth in the fighting than the original smash brothers games (which have no depth in terms of the mechanics behind the fighting engine), then sorry im not interested, i'd rather play JUS on my ds than this.
