I have not played (more than a hour) of a Mario Party game sing #3 on N64. I picked up Super Mario Party on impulse and I have to say that Nintendo is finally starting to get this franchise on the right track!

I honestly don't understand how "allies" end up as pros.

It's been ruining every single game we've had. One guy gets many of them early on and has a huge advantage for the rest of the game. For literally all the games we had someone with at least 4 allies and someone with none.
And the best with that? No way to lose and ally or steal one!
Second best? Nintendo completely forgot that settings are a thing and you cant deactivate them.

Legitimately surprised at how amazing this game is. Great review, and kudos to Nintendo for making an amazing fun game. I've put more hours into this game in the first few days of owning it than any of my other games.
