What makes you think that's AP jelmew?

The data may just not save the number of lives per session hence why you get 5 extra lives every time you start up the game?

I found some sort of ap. It's really trivial. But every time I load up my save game, the number of lives is back at 4 times. Nothing mayor.
That's no AP, that's how the game works

It's the same in most Mario games

Edit: Too late

Son is at 4th World, no freezes of any type. People with black screens, install ios56, green screen on pal, force ntsc.
, to fix the "unable to read" error, you need to use the HEX EDITOR and change the first letter, S, for R
save and burn
Saying I have to edit the first hex 53(s) and edit it to 52® Why?
Help appreciated.

I am running NeoGamma R9 Beta 12 on cIOS 249, Rev 17.

Game loads, but I get "disc can't be read" after warning menu.

While waiting, Trying out DarkCORP.
Drop that.
I used NeoGamma RC9 Beta 12 cIOS 249, Rev 17.
Boot language english, force disc.
AVNextFrame (or something) hook type.
The game comes with error after warning.

Then I:
1. Pressed Eject and Inserted MK WII backup
2. Quickly ejected and put in SMG 2
3. It Loaded and I created save, but when I press "Start" it says "Disc Could not be read".
4. Tried Step 1/2 again, didn't work.
5. Restarted, step 1 & 2 doesn't work anymore

Confused, help me?

Edit: Rev 17 (not 19)
Step 1 And 2 also works as: Insert disc, play game. "Disc Could Not be read", Eject and wait for: "pleas insert Super mario Galaxy 2 disc". Insert, and then it works.
Still crashes when I press start on file 1, gonna try at file 2 and 3 to. (just hoping

My Galaxy2 is not working...
All my other games work but MG2 is the only one that doesn't.
Im using Configurable USB Loader V54B3
It displays these messages after I choose the game...
Loading IOS222
Loading BASE ISO138 V4

It then looks like it's going to load but it just goes to a black screen.

and yes I've tried...

•002 fix
•Force NTSC
•Language set to "English"

They say uLoader 5.0 works.

Works fine for me:

PAL console running 3.2E
CIOS rev19 (using ios57 as a base)
Latest Configurable USB loader (57b4).
Default options except force PAL60 (so that it displays properly with RGB scart, leaving as default works too but red screen, obviously).
Never installed IOS56.

I can't see how everyone is having so many problems, when it works with default options.

PAL console running 4.0
CIOS rev14
Latest USB Loader GX
I left everything default except I enabled 002 fix and ForcePAL
Also I never installed IOS56

With all the problems everyone was having I thought I would struggle getting it to run, but I got it on my first try without installing anything new.

I cannot get this game to work in a USB Loader at all. I have tried USB Loader GX, WiiFlow, and NeoGammaR9. I tried both CIOS rev 17 and 19.

No matter what, I get the wrist strap warning message and then a black screen. Every time. It always freezes right after the warning.

Can anybody please tell me what the problem is here? It is greatly appreciated, thanks!

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
