Looks like the Sonic 2 HD design philosophy is bleeding into your other projects, Glem.
I don't really get what you mean. Both by Sonic 2 HD design philosophy and "other projects". This is my only project, and I don't see how it's related to Sonic 2 HD?

I think it would be awesome if there was another planet on the Throwback Galaxy that had a Super Mario Sunshine level!

YES. SO MUCH YES.

At the moment? It's definitely not possible at the moment. We (by which I really mean our main programmer, kamimatt) plan to investigate the possibility of adding in objects from 3dsMax directly into the game... if we get that done, we can take an SMS level, port it into 3dsMax, and then bring that into the hack, hypothetically speaking.

I can tell you we are at least remaking one of the secret levels from SMS at the moment... a very... difficult one.

I'm talking about the art style, which can be summed up as gradients out the wazoo.

But... that's just part of promotional art. That has nothing to do with the actual hack. The actual hack uses SMG2's original graphics.

Thank you! We also may soon create an all new level design for an original starball level, "Rolling Halfpipe Galaxy".

On an unrelated note, we also recently discovered a new type of switch in the game, which allows something to be triggered whenever Mario spins... this means we can make mario's spin activate ANYTHING. Expect some "no spin" comet missions soon, as well as missions where spinning switches beat blocks, or spinning switches the gravity.

Oh, and here's a new picture of some testing that's being done in Bowser's Lava Lair... this is, of course, not even close to anything final. [Created by Martboo48]

Some cool news, LemmTK on our forum has discovered that some of yoshi's powerups can be combined. Check it out in this video around 5 minutes in.

More tests, this time with moving airships, for an upcoming level "Doomship Base".

The bowser level looks amazing and like it's going to be a great challenge with all these fireballs. overall amazing project, keep up the good work! Totally looking forward to play this someday

Now THIS you HAVE to see... Be prepared to have the possibilities of this project shown in full force... Kudos to martboo for making all these levels and videos as an investigation of switches and their many uses. I'd like to hear your comments on this!
