repack nca
rebuild nsp/xci

I haven't ngc game iso, not test, you can use layerfs method to easy test
put gcm to tfcard:/sxos/titles/010049900f546003/romfs/MarioSunshine/Super_Mario_Sunshine_Stardust-trimmed.gcm

If he didn't show proof then no that hasn't happened yet. Tons of people are claiming they've injected GC roms and got them working, but it's all talk at this point.

emu is doing dol hash check before running gcm. Not meeting requirements will result in crash.


So modifying Sunshine gcm in romfs can still run if you will modify something it doesn't check. But no other game will run without disabling hash check first (there are signs it checks executable)

that in turn does hash checks (and other stuff people are looking into to do game replacements) and boots the gcm

the gcm is the modified PAL rom (cuz NERD), with all language files, cutscenes re-encoded to black for the emulator to pick up on and replace, and recompiled dol

Isn't the file that stores the hashes right next to the game file itself? I think I saw a file there ending with .hash on someone's screenshot.

The dolHash check can be disabled in MarioSunshine.config: “UseDolHash”: false
