Hacking stuck in cios 249 rev20b installation

so i started the installation using cios installer 2.3, and got to the part that says "finishing installation, please wait...", it's almost been an hour and nothing has changed. I've found that pressing the wii remote does nothing, also, the disc drive light is on... Should i hard reset my wii or wait for it to finish? The music is still on though

Ya turn the wii off and try again. Your just installing a cios it wont brick your wii.
