Hacking Stuck at "3D Screen Check" on 2DS after Sysnand Format

I was trying to unlink my Sysnand/Enunand by doing a system format on my sysnand. Now I'm stuck at the "3D Check Screen" where it ask me to adjust the 3D slider all the way up, but the problem is, this is a 2DS.

Firmware is 8.x.

Any tips? Can't seem to pass the 3D Screen Check Screen.

I'm thinking this is related to me downgrading MSET or installing FBI.

you're in a full softbrick. you installed 4.x MSET while the 2DS can only take 6.x. do you have a nand backup?

Yup you F'ed up.

4.x mset should never be intalled in a 2DS.
4.x mset doesn't know the 2DS exists.
4.x mset will patiently wait forever for you to use the 3D slider...

Get it hardmodded and reflash your NAND.BIN... unless you F'ed that up too...

You should get a the nand backup that you SHOULD HAVE and search a page on how to hardmod a 2ds

You need to do this asap before Nintendo updates > 10.3.
Then downgrade back to 9.2. Be careful and follow directions when doing so.
When you're on 9.2 again DO NOT downgrade mset again. Use a .3dsx to launch your CFW/flashcard.

no, i really am an idiot for not thinking about that solution. i always thought he's SOL without a nand restore. i forgot about recovery mode and the downgrade methods.

It hasn't been possible for very long. Plus, the various mset downgrade methods use 6.x mset by default on a 2DS, so this kind of thing doesn't occur very often anymore.

yeah, but i've been downgrading 10.3 3DSes throughout the week, and this didn't even cross my mind one bit. i'm a complete idiot, lol.

there is another way to achieve this , but you have to own a sky 3ds , use one of the auto boot demos and run it , by doing it this way , the console will skip setting and start the game cartridge directly , forcing you to apply update and restore back your working nand XD

Thanks for the tip. Tried Recovery Mode, but got a "An error has occurred. Unable to update"

I do have a NAND backup. Will need to look at a hard mod I guess.

Care to elaborate a bit more? What are those demos? Put de demo in the cardtridge, turn on the system an go straight into it?

I have the same problem but the sysnand is on 9.2. And i cant hardmod it. But could a update to 10.2 with Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon work?With the special trick,where i can start a Game before the 2ds is setted up?
