Gaming strange micro sd problem...

ive had a 4gb micro sd card for about 3 years now for my ds. even though it works fine in my ds, recently its been giving a Input/output error on windows and "not readable" on my mac.

is there anyway i can backup this card to transfer my roms e.t.c to another one?

any help appreciated..

Have you tried a different micro sd card reader? The micro sd card itself may not be faulty.

definately not the card reader, my other micro sd works in it.
and not the card as it works in my ds

i just want to get my game saves

format it, with Panasonic SD Formatter. Back-up first. Find it in FileTrip.net

i cant back it up because it wont be read by mac or pc...

do you have phone that use SD slot?
back-up the SD from there.

Or, as mentioned, try a different card reader (such as a USB -> SD -> MicroSD combination), one that uses different drivers from the one you're currently using. Sometimes it's the drivers that go strange when dealing with specific cards. Sometimes it's simple a matter of worn/dirty contacts.

Last time it happened to me, I just tried taking it in and out a few times (it was a kinda brainless moment) and it worked on the 5th try. Don't ask me why.
