Been having some issues with my SD card giving me errors about not being readable, and to restart the system. Tried some canned air but that did not help so I purchased a new Micro SD card. Worked great for around a week though I am now getting the same error again. Seems like it is more likely to happen when I pick up the Switch, some I am assuming some dust has got into the contacts and it will not fully seat.

I've tried canned air, but so far that has not helped. Wondering if there is a safe way to clean the contacts without disassembling the entire console?

This is an original 3DS model. There is a little screw right in front of the area you insert the Micro SD card but I am not sure if removing that will give me better access, or if I need to disassemble the entire console.

Applying some 99% IPA alcohol doesn't do any damage either.
Don't use anything less pure because it will contain water.

Unless you got some greasy stuff in your SD card slot, inserting/ejecting the card about 20 times usually solved bad contacts.

There are a lot of topic about the internal connector of the SD card board going bad after several years.
So that might be the issue in your case as well.

You need to remove some more screws to remove the back cover but that still won't give you much access.
Removing the back cover is pretty harmless.

The SD card reader daughter board is connect with 2 connectors and easy to damage.
The SD card reader is on the bottom side of that board.
