Hacking Starting fresh on A9LH

I'm wanting to start fresh with my A9LH hax sysnand on N3DS. But I'm trying to figure out the proper way to format my mSD card, and which files need to be put back on so it'll be functional.

Bonus question: I have Savedatafiler, and was trying to backup my save for tomodachi life, but can't for the life(hehe) of me find the save file to back up. Am I doing something wrong? (I have successfully backed up my pokemon Y save and my pokemeon yellow save.)

look it up the 3dsdb website for your save id to back it up,
or easier just use JK save manager it is really amazing, it displays the names of your games
and is easy to export your cia saves.

I found the spot for the tomodachi save file (using svdt) And all it contains is a text file, weird.
