As we all know.....we can save battles (that are less than 3 minutes long) as a replay on the Wii/SD card. I have tried the function today...I saved to my SD card, now...the problem is.....I bring it to the comp, and it's in .bin format.

I searched around on the net, and tried using VCD Gear to convert the bin files into a vid files, it was unsuccessful. Does anyone know of a way to convert these .bin to watchable vid files?

Most likely there are not video files....these are memory stacks of the match. Basically this file will be run through the SSBB engine and replay the match bit by bit. Video encoding in real time is VERY taxing on a processor especially one of low calibur as the Wii's.

So yeah...get a video capture card.

well you could wait for a wii emulator.... but that will take ages LOL.

also, i haven't really been following smash, only 3 minutes seems a bit lame to me. 5 minute battles are my favourite on the prequels

3 minutes is lame. Its totally pointless. I mean most matches last more than 3 minutes and it doesnt even give you the option of saving the last 3 minutes of the match. if it lasts longer than 3 minutes, it just doesnt allow you to save anything at all.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
