My Super smash bros 3ds have some update issues...
I download the update from eshop and the game shows me only Nintendo 3ds boot screen (5-10 minl..
After deleting the update the game Start boot.

Is your game a digital or physical copy?
Have you tried re-downloading the game update?

Have the digital and yes tried redownload and repair..
Without the update works..
