Square Enix has a habit of releasing limited edition handhelds. The publisher behind Final Fantasy made seven DS versions in Japan for games like The World Ends With You and SaGa 2. So, we’re not to surprised to see Square Enix make a limited edition Nintendo 3DS.

It’s for their upcoming dungeon crawler Heroes of Ruin and it won’t be sold in stores. You can enter to win the Heroes of Ruin handheld by entering this contest run by Square Enix.

Heroes of Ruin is slated for release early next year.

The coloring? Awesome.

The blatant logo and text everywhere? Not awesome.

They did so much better with the limited edition DS Lites... I still want that FF3 DS.

Wait, is it? The flag says American, but everything is catered towards UK players.

Everyone is complaining about the logo and text
Very slim chance that any of you is going to win it

If we're complaining about the logo and text, why would we want to win it?

The terms and conditions are different for the US. The other countries terms and conditions are the same except for Spain where the competition isn't available.
