Square Enix’s First Limited Edition 3DS Is For Heroes Of Ruin

Square Enix has a habit of releasing limited edition handhelds. The publisher behind Final Fantasy made seven DS versions in Japan for games like The World Ends With You and SaGa 2. So, we’re not to surprised to see Square Enix make a limited edition Nintendo 3DS.

It’s for their upcoming dungeon crawler Heroes of Ruin and it won’t be sold in stores. You can enter to win the Heroes of Ruin handheld by entering this contest run by Square Enix.

Heroes of Ruin is slated for release early next year.

their website is messed up. it will let you register, but when you attempt to enter the contest, I keep getting a "KO: invalid username" error message

but I still want the Electric Blue like from the original DS Phat as a 3DS color. If only it wasnt so darn hard to replace the shell.

They did so much better with the limited edition DS Lites... I still want that FF3 DS.

The terms and conditions are different for the US. The other countries terms and conditions are the same except for Spain where the competition isn't available.
