So all the arm9loaderhax offtopic aside:
It seems for me and my friend 3.2 Final broke GBA games. Both european N3DS units Sysnand in 9.2 and Emunand 10.5 using 10.2 FIRM. I am currently switching to use Cakes to rectify this problem myself. Reinand is cool beans and I am somewhat sure GBA was still fine in 3.2 beta...

Sounds like you have the "old" version of 3.2, and not the "new"one Rei released a day or two afterward. In the first final release of 3.2, he broke GBA and DS/DSiWare unintentionally. You might want to redownload the release from Github just to be safe.

Yes. It gives full access to most if not the whole system. @shinyquagsire23 can a9lh be installed via 3dsx on 10.5 and above? Just would like some clarification if there's anything stopping it from installing on 9.3+ as I've only seen people install it on 9.2
For N3DS you have to generate xorpads, so you'd need ARM9. Otherwise you'd need ARM11 kernel to install .CIAs and FIRM,

Oh yeah, THAT might explain that I saw date that made it seem new but since it was just 3.2 or not 3.2.1 or anything like that, I thought it was the same one so I did not redownload what I thought I already had. I also ended up copying what I had to friend because of it.
(so in case of stuff like this happens, do not push the fix to existing release prefix it at least with additional .1 to make clear)

Thanks for the info I would not have known otherwise.

I've got a japanese n3ds that I'm just getting around to attempting to update. I downloaded all the files for 3.2, put them on my card, and reinand boots up just fine. however when I try to use the system updater, I get an error. Would using sysupdater to get to 10.5 work or what should I do?

What error do you get?

It's in japanese, so I don't actually know, but I'm pretty sure it's just the black screen of death telling me to power down the console and call nintendo.

yes, only when trying to update in the system updater within the system settings. And I know I'm in ReiNand because the 'Rei' string is there.

Is this black screen error showing up after you've updated to 10.5? Are your NANDs linked or unlinked?

Nands unlinked, stops about 1/8 of the way into the update process. I'm currently searching for the 10.5 update files. (Could I just use 3DNUS for this?)

Yes, you can use 3DNUS for it, since that's the latest firmware. In the version box type 10.5.0-30, and in the region box put JPN, then it should download the correct firmware. After that, use sysupdater (any of them should work, but the official one from profi200 is probably okay too) to install the CIAs.

Can anyone give me a config file for menuhax to automatically boot reinand ?
Without a boot manager?

Copy the ReiNand.3dsx file from the reinand folder (that's in the 3ds folder) onto the root of your SD card, then rename that to boot.3dsx.

But isn't the main job of emunand is having the latest fw? So how is it pointless?!
You can run/update to the latest fw WITH arm9loaderhax installed assuming you do it right. I did it earlier on one of my n3ds's which is now running 10.5 sysnand with a9LH booting a mod of reinand straight to sysnand... :)

Even if it's pointless, I'd probably still opt for an emuNAND solution, if only to save some wear and tear on the 3DS's internal NAND. SD cards are cheap and replaceable, the internal NAND is not (and yes, I know it'd still be accessed a tiny bit even with arm9loaderhax booting into emuNAND).

Hi Shadowtrance, Rei, I am lost on how to use arm9loaderhax.zip with my recently dumped OTP, can you help me if not too much trouble? I am running a 9.0.0-20
