not sure if you saw my earlier comment, i was testing for just over an hour your arm9.bin on some 9.5+ eshop (non cf versions) and all running well, in fact i have come across no problems yet at all
Good to hear. Thanks for testing it.

Since im sure barely anyone knew or used my sysnand feature, im canning it for more useful features. It made up like almost half the code and was making it messy. I got some ideas in mind of more useful things. Plus i kinda wanna get back to the roots of this project where its supposed to be minimalist code wise. It's hard to tell cfw apart these days.
Noooooo, that's so sad. :(

I liked using that feature to enter my Sysnand without having to unwrap EVERY SINGLE CIA AGAIN when going back to the Emunand. I was glad i could get rid of all the other CFW crap like rxTools on my SD stick just for patched Sysnand when i discovered that feature.

Please keep in mind that this is only a USA region system. I have no idea if EUR or JPN (or KOR/CHN/TWN) have any other additional titles beyond what I found here. If someone with a factory 9.0 sysnand was willing to dump and decrypt their sysnand and send it to me, I could compare the titles and see if there are any others for those regions, but unfortunately I would be unable to verify the expected versions as I used FBI on my own sysnand to do that.

I have a factory 9.0 European N3DS. What would you need me to do to?

You need to dump your nand.bin file, then use rxtools or decrypt9 to generate a nand.fat16.xorpad file (i assume the xorpad I have from mine won't work).

Then upload them somewhere.

Well I figured people use CBM now, so you could use minipasta or something to do sysnand work

In my tutorial there is a guy testing it and he has problems with DS. Some games work (pokemon black and white) and others dont (pokemon diamond?). They are just not recognized. This is a minor bug, I know, but still worth mentioning.

It could as well be the cartdrige. Do those work on sysnand?

Yeah this sounds like a cartridge problem. Have your tested give it the 'ole trusted NES blow and see what happens.

Yeah this is basically what I do, that or GW sysnand mode if I need access to a cia installer other than sysupdater.

He later wrote it also doesnt work in Sysnand. So that probably means cartridge is dead. Ok, nothing to see here.

Going to make emunand backup, update to 10.3 via sysupdater now (i have blocked official updates) and testing reinand then.

Couldn't i cut out the middleman and just dump a decrypted NAND via Decrypt9?

You might be able to. All I really need is a bin file that I can mount with poweriso (or a similar tool) so I can browse the titles and document what I find.

Yeah they wont work on rxtools. Btw you did not need to install the patched agb_firm if my experience is anything to go by. You just have to install the game itself to both sysnand and emunand.

Officially released games like the ambassador GBA games work fine but I had to patch agb to get "teh gud kush" working, Now if you will excuse me I have some Boktai that needs playing :|

Ah, yeah I was testing with an ambassador game. Unsigned, but still.

A patched agb_firm is probably needed for custom made VC injects.

You sure the cia was not patched to region free? that is a very common patch done.

Is there such a patch? Didn't know that. I remember having US game on old rxtools that did officially not support regionfree (10-02) and it was not there, and then it was there when I switched to newer, regionfree-supporting rxtools (12-05). And they're also there now in Reinand.

The cia file is "region free-d" when converted/created by a lot of ppl. So that would be why.
Reinand has ZERO region free stuff implemented (atm).

No idea how things worked for 10-02 since I got my first DS anything only recently but I have noticed region free patching is done to darn near every cia available on "the usual place".
