Does reinand 10.3 has something more than emunand 9.5?
I don't need eshop/nnid.

I test both FBI back up from SYSNAND and FBI isntall via NASA straight on EMUNAND. Both works perfectly.

I don't check reddit for homebrew. Mods doesn't know anything there so they let people post misinformation with no way to correct. Trool often post POS, I meant fake POC there. On here, mods would move those kind of post to the edge when reported.

I just used FBI cia on reinand 10.3 without problems.

@mashers you dont need to install CIA managers on sysnand, you can easely inject it into the H&S app with d0k3 tool

Well you'll also be able to play carts which require FW > 9.5 without having to install a cryptofixed cia.

I think crypto fixing was only necessary for digital games.

Btw, DS flashcarts no longer work because the v11264 revision of the whitelist was reinstalled with the update (it was added to the SOAP reply for N3DS in 9.7, so...) Reinstalling bluecardfix.cia SHOULD resolve this, but I have heard rumors that downgrading the Whitelist like that prompts the system to ask you to update again.

edit:

Just reinstalled bluecardfix.cia and the GW Blue Cart works perfectly again.. Did have to use DevMenu though because its considered a "downgrade" now.

Will the bluecardfix work with r4i flashcarts or is it specific to something in the GW blue flashcart ?

Yes. But I found easier way. Update ReiNAND EMUNAND to 10.3 (not sure whether update first is required, but that's what I did. I will test with unupdated EMUNAND when I move on the next N3DS tomorrow). Install browserhax on EMUNAND -> run HBL -> run NASA-> install FBI.cia or other CIA manager (I only tested FBI)

I just used it to install flashcardtimewarp, just for grins. Works fine here. I just need NTR updated so I can use the DLC for my Japanese game.

I guess I don't really need 10.3 functions as much to migrate from rx to rei.
I'm loyal to rxtools. And they just announced that 9.5+ support is coming SOON(tm) teehee

I formatted emunand instead od sysnand
i had an eshop error in emunand, so i ended up fromatting emunand instead of sysnand and now i can enter eshop again

You will hate yourself later. Because of newer game compatibility, you'll find yourself on emunand much more than sysnand. You really want all of your previous progress on emunand. When rxTools catches up, it'll be easy to swap them though. You just have to carefully swap movable.sed between the nands.

I would. Because the main person who can make it happen is so worried about copyright. He will not have keys in the code (although I don't see why he doesn't simply leech off of ReiNand's firmware.bin like he did before...)

Thanks for all the helpful replies guys. It's really helped to clarify the process. Just to update my plan, here's what I'm intending to do:

1. Backup SD card
2. Setup second SD card with emunand9 as boot.3dsx
3. Downgrade to 9.2
4. Reinstall hax in sysnand (thank goodness I bought a CN cart )
5. Boot hax from sysnand using emunand9 SD card
6. Use emunand9 3dsx to create emunand partition on original SD card and clone sysnand to emunand
7. Restore original SD card backup
8. Unlink nands using tiny format to preserve NNID on emunand
9. Follow the tutorial linked on Reddit to get the newest reinand running
10. Boot into emunand using reinand
11. Update emunand to 10.3
12. Install hax in emunand and boot homebrew launcher
13. Run NASA
14. Install FBI to emunand

Any glaring errors or omissions?
