Hacking Official [Source Release] ReiNand CFW

so let's try and make this clear...

I tried using hblauncher_loader (which would have the same effect even if I used browserhax or Cubic Ninja) in ReiNand emunand with FBI.3dsx and was not able to install anything.

I was able to use FBI.3dsx to install things to rxtools pasta mode (sysnand). so I could then install FBI or BigBlueMenu or whatever.

I highly suggest installing in sysnand before cloning it to emunand.

This is why I use NASA in ReiNAND EMUNAND 10.3 whcih let you install FBI.cia onto EMUNAND.

whichever is easier for you. I find it easier to install FBI/etc before cloning to emunand, so...

Someone mentioned a few pages ago that you don't need to format to unlink the nand's I havent tested so I can't vouch for what was said.

I don't think there is any other way....

Please pay some time to read next time.

Tiny Format left the NNID data untouched, so you don't go through the trouble relink NNID. Maybe more but that's the best feature of Tiny Format.

it also removes the risk of anything getting deleted from the SD card on accident (and also removes the need to back up if you format emunand)

If you use the regular method to format your sysnand, you will erase your NNID-console pair info from the nintendo server. This will stop you from logging into your NNID on your emunand even if your emunand is up-to-data. By using TinyFormat, this registration information can be kept on the server, making it easier for people to access eshop on the unlinked emunand.

I'm assuming you've downgraded your mset right?
Could try this installer, no idea if it will make any difference but it's what use and works.

Weird. No idea to be honest. (might be a stupid question) but are you sure you're selecting the right one in the menu? 4.x n3ds DG reinand (something along those lines)...

Why not use Menu Hax + BootCtrManager? Can easily boot into GW Menu, ReiNAND EMUNAND, SYSNAND mode.

For sysnand without CFW, it only allows you to install legit CIA (Firmware 9.3+ though). For CFW 9.3+ it even allows you install FBI.cia onto EMUNAND which hasn't been possible before (Not meaning inject to NAND or create EMUNAND from SYSNAND with FBI on it)

Yes mate, i am selecting that one... weirdest thing is if use the rxTools rop again it will load rxTools, same with GW but not reNAND
