If you want to launch them from emunand, you HAVE to install them to both emunand AND sysnand.

If you want to play any gba game other than one of the ten Ambassador games, you HAVE to install the patched agb_firm

I was referring to Old3DS, as you can't use GBA and DSi games at all with it, if the reboot patch is applied. N3DS doesn't need the reboot patch.

One he has actually been asked more than once to make his own thread for rather than hijacking Rei's (and causing confusion for those who don't understand that he is effectively making his own version of reinand, like yourself)

No offense but names and avatar means nothing on the internet, it's easy to make people think someone is a girl when he could be a guy in 'disguise'

They will not (and in fact likely cannot legally) completely block access to a game unless they can reasonably prove that you do not own it. All they can do in that case is block access until you meet the requirements (such as installing an update). Since the team that designed and released Cubic Ninja is no longer around and afaik the source code is gone, Nintendo cannot easily create an update for this game.

What we might see this introduce, however, is a sort of white-list of games that exist in eshop format that is used to block cia format games that are not on that list from launching.

I have a slight feeling Nintendo required companies to provide their source code before their app is placed on the eshop/sold as a cartridge.

I think if Nintendo was able to block ninjhax through an update to the game they would have done so by now.

Exactly, I assume everyone I encounter on the internet is a guy until the person in question comments otherwise. Names and avatars don't mean anything. And while Rei may not have asked you, I do remember at least once person asking you to create a separate thread for your build since you were making so many changes and it was causing a level of confusion in regards to figuring out if people were wanting support for your build or the normal builds.

Ever since changing from RXtoolds to ReiNamd, my system has a minor crash whenever I close a game....it doesn't reset the console...just freezes for a sec, tells me it crashed and then continues like normal. Any suggestions....did it on 10.3/4 on 3.0/3.1.

Its actually the opposite of sexist, but ok. Would you rather I assume you were only important because you might have tits and a pussy and thus treat you differently just for that? Because, you know, that IS the very definition of "sexism".

And its not being arrogant to point out that the level of changes you have made to your builds warrant them being given their own thread for discussion and support. What you are providing, while based on the original Reinand code, is not really Reinand anymore. At this point it is drastically different in scope and features than what Reisyukaku's builds offer. If anything you should take it as a sort of praise. "My changes are significant enough to justify their own support thread". Ma'am you effectively created your own CFW.

Maybe but the thing is, nintendo would have to read through the code (which sucks imo) and create a patch for it. Besides, they're making money out of CN and Oot3D (look at the restocks) so it may not be their highest priority yet. They could be planning to make as much money as possible before creating patches for these games. But who knows, i cant even confirm if nintendo has the source code or not, just a guess. XD

Maybe, but at the moment I would be more concerned about the fact that "APT:IsTitleAllowed" has implications beyond just blocking access to older versions of eshop titles like Ironfall. Seems to me that if they can block older versions of a title from launching that maybe they can tell if a title is launching from a cart or the sd card, and then block games that aren't available on the eshop from launching from the sd card.

I don't know if this is something that's within any CFW developer's powers to fix, but is there any chance that the emunand 3d bug ever getting fixed? I know it has a simple fix, just close the lid of the 3ds and reopen, but just wondering if this will every truly can be or could be fixed?

If you're using Reinand 3.0 or 3.1 you probably need to update your firmware.bin.

Try using ctrbootmanager. Also make sure you have the right firmware.bin
