Hacking Soundhax not working on 3DS XL

hey everyone. i just hacked my regular 3ds the other day and my friend wanted me to do the same for them. they have a 3ds xl 11.1.0-39u so im attempting to load SOUNDHAX i tried the new file but it wouldnt even play so i tried the old and it loads for a second or two then immediatley goes back to the home page. Any suggestions ?
