Sony Officially Announces Planetside 2

It may have been leaked a couple years ago, but Planetside 2 was "officially" announced at Sony Online's Fan Faire this evening. Along with the announcement comes some screens and art, and the very first glimpse of gameplay footage. Check out the trailer below.

Planetside=an MMOFPS for the PC that involves huge wars, usually with hundreds of people each.
I think I read something about it being really popular. But I'm not sure if I'm going to try it, the first required a monthly subscription.

Oh my bad.

But I think later on there will be PSX and Vita versions of it.
